About Me
I am a second-year PhD Student in the INESC_ID Research Center at Instituto Superior Técnico / University of Lisbon and in the Augmented Perception Lab at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Prof. Joaquim Jorge, Prof. David Lindlbauer and Dr. Maurício Sousa. I am part of the CMU Portugal Dual Degree PhD Program in Human-Computer Interaction at CMU and IST. I am excited about research in Remote Collaboration, Perception Manipulation, Interaction Techniques, 3D User Interfaces, and Mixed Reality.
I received my Integrated MSc. degree in Aerospace Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico / University of Lisbon in 2020.
I am currently based in Pittsburgh!
Personal Curiosities
- I lived in India for one year during a master’s exchange program at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (Chennai).
- I am bilingual in Portuguese and French.
- I love baking and cooking to the sound of a good jam!
